A major part of our obligations as structural engineers in designing steel beams, is to connect 2 or more beams together. We call these connections. Connections are either bolted or welded, or both. Like steel beams which need to be precisely calculated, so do the connections. As structural engineers, we can design all types of connections to solve all solutions in supporting your beams and the transfer of loads to the ground.
Our connection designs are to British Standards and fully satisfy Building Control requirements. We also provide complete fabrication drawings of each component so your steel supplier can manufacture your steels. Our service includes working with your supplier, including providing their preferred file format at no extra cost. £60 incl per connection.
